RWE — Repowering Lundåkra

As many Swedish wind turbines start to grow old and technological development advances, more and more of our customers are considering re-powering. Many of the earliest wind turbines were built in Sweden's best wind locations, and with new technology, electricity production in these locations can be significantly increased in a resource-efficient manner.

Renewable Sweden is currently collaborating with RWE Renewables Sweden AB to enable a generation shift in Lundåkrahamn in Landskrona. The plan is to replace four smaller wind turbines with three modern turbines with the goal of quadrupling electricity generation. Renewable Sweden assists RWE with planning and structuring consultations, procurement of inventories, consulting and with final compilation of environmental impact assessment.
